Since the start of the Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% State Programme, business entities have received 62,963 loans from authorised banks totalling UAH 202.86 billion, of which 41,762 from public sector banks totalling UAH 88.31 billion (as of Jnue 5).
Over the past week, 365 concessional loans totalling UAH 1.4 billion were issued under the programme, including 245 loan agreements worth UAH 0.68 billion were concluded by public sector banks.
During the period of martial law in Ukraine, 28,141 loan agreements totalling UAH 113,2 billion were concluded (including 21,286 loan agreements by public sector banks to the tune of UAH 61.7 billion), of which: UAH 3.34 billion – for investment purposes, UAH 7.64 billion – as anti-crisis loans, UAH 4.26 billion – as refinancing of previously received loans, UAH 31.6 billion – loans for agricultural producers and UAH 56.42 billion – for anti-war purposes.
The programme is being implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF). The Government of Ukraine, represented by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, is the sole participant of the EDF and coordinates all aspects of the Fund’s activities. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
