Moldova’s airspace was reopened on June 2. Civil aircraft have resumed flights at Chisinau International Airport.
Until 7:00 a.m. on June 2, the national airspace was restricted to civil aircraft flights and other airspace use activities (gliders, hot air balloons, drones, etc.). Only the flights of aircraft carrying official delegations, which participated in the European Political Community Summit, were allowed.
The airspace of the Republic of Moldova was closed between 00:00 (local time) June 1 and 07:00 (local time) June 2.
Several official delegations that participated in the Summit left the country in the evening of June 1, while another part remained to continue the meetings and discussions with Chisinau authorities. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
