“I today welcomed European Commissioner for Transport Adina Valean in Chisinau, with whom I discussed the roads, bridges and railway, which connected us, in the direct sense. Moldova and EU make concrete steps, so that we are member of the European family as soon as possible,” President Maia Sandu said.
The head of state noted that, in the capacity of associated member of this facility, Moldova would receive more financing for the construction, development, modernization and completion of the trans-European networks in the transports sector, energy and digital sector.
“I thanked Mrs. Commissioner for the assistance provided by the European Union, so that we have better roads and infrastructure and for the agreement on the liberalization of the road transport of goods with EU.
