A rehabilitation center intended for Ukrainian defenders is likely to be built in the Chernihiv region’s Nizhyn. The construction works are expected to be financed by the French Republic. The relevant statement was made by Nizhyn City Council on Facebook.
“We are actively working to establish a rehabilitation center in Nizhyn, as there is a great demand for this facility. Unfortunately, today there are thousands of defenders who need rehabilitation. There is no similar facility in the Chernihiv region, and we would like it to appear in Nizhyn,” Nizhyn Mayor Oleksandr Kodola noted.
In his words, the construction works are expected to be financed not from the city budget but by the French Republic.
According to Kodola, the President of France’s National Association for Architecture, Martin Duplantier, has already visited Nizhyn three times and presented a front-end study.
“If we succeed in opening a rehabilitation center, it will be a significant breakthrough in expanding health care services for local residents not only in the Nizhyn community but the entire region,” Kodola stressed. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
