As a result of a missile attack on March 9, three thermal power plants run by DTEK Energo were damaged. At one of the facilities, equipment sustained “serious damage.”
That’s according to DTEK’s report on Telegram.
“The enemy continues to launch massive terrorist attacks on Ukraine’s energy facilities. On March 9, three DTEK Energo’s thermal power plants were damaged by strikes. According to tentative reports, there were no casualties,” the statement reads.
It is noted that the equipment was seriously damaged as a result of the shelling targeting one of those sites. After the air raid alert was over, power industry experts promptly scrambled to tackle the consequences of the strike. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
