Poland’s core inflation, which excluded the prices of food and energy, measured 11.5% YoY in December 2022, up from 11.4% in November 2022, the National Bank of Poland (NBP) said on January 16.
Inflation excluding fixed prices amounted to 17.1% YoY in December 2022, down from 18.1% in the previous month.
Inflation excluding the most volatile items measured 15% YoY in December 2022, unchanged month on month.
The 15% trimmed mean inflation reached 14.4% YoY in December 2922, down from 14.5% in November 2022.
According to the Central Statistical Office (GUS), prices of consumer goods and services (Consumer Price Index, CPI) increased by 16.6% YoY and by 0.1% MoM in December 2022. (PAP/Business World Magazine)
