The State Fiscal Service (SFS) announced on November 15 that income tax receipts from private people who leased real estate had increased by 22.3% since the beginning of the year, compared to the same period of the previous year, and totaled 32.9 million lei (about 1.65 million euros).
According to the institution, as a result of voluntary compliance and information actions, in January-October 5,105 private people were identified as leasing real estate.
“Also, for 442 private people who rented real estate, the following were calculated additionally to the budget: basic payments in the amount of 316.4 thousand lei, late payment increase in the amount of 28.1 thousand lei and a fine applied in the amount of 37 thousand lei”, indicates the SFS.
As a result of the actions taken during 2022, 16,802 real estate leasing contracts were registered. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
