United Airports of Georgia was featured in the World Routes aviation forum in Las Vegas to showcase the potential of Georgia’s airline market on the international stage.
The event, launched on October 16, provided a forum for 30-minute meetings between cities, airports and airlines to consider where best to provide aircraft and flights for profitable operations.
“More than 9,000 face-to-face meetings were held over the course of three days to agree on where, in which direction and with what frequency airlines would fly around the world”, UAG said.
“UAG held presentations and meetings introducing all three international airports of the country. The aviation Forum has allowed us to present Georgia’s important geographical location and tourism potential in the global airline market”, the body added.
Among the participants of the Routes World forum were American Airlines, Lufthansa Group, Emirates, Delta Air Lines, Air France, Qatar Airways, Air Canada, International Airlines Group, Qantas, LATAM Airlines Group, Aer Lingus and China Southern Airlines. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
