Termoelectrica company announced that it had carried out the necessary works for the transition of the Electric Heating Plant (CET) I to the mixed use of fuel oil and natural gas.
According to the company, starting from October 11 CET switched to an operating regime based on fuel oil with minimal use of natural gas in the technological process.
“For the time being, the Power Plant operates under a regime that allows increasing the thermal and electrical load, if necessary,” according to Termoelectrica.
CET I is the main source of thermal and electrical energy production of Termoelectrica and an important energy object of the country. It ensures the production of thermal energy and electric energy in cogeneration mode, which involves the production of two types of energy (thermal and electric) based on the same fuel.
