Tbilisi International Airport in the Georgian capital serviced 1,515,988 passengers in the first seven months of 2022, while the number stood at 313,036 for Batumi International Airport, TAV Georgia, the operator of the two facilities, announced on August 17.
In the reporting period, the number of passengers increased by 121.56% YoY for Tbilisi Airport, while the airport in Batumi saw a 35.37% increase in its passenger flow, the company said.
Thirty-five airlines are operating flights from Tbilisi International Airport to 38 destinations, while 21 airlines are connecting passengers between Batumi and 17 destinations during the current summer season. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
