In 2021, about 350 families in the capital received dairy products for children under the age of one.
Violeta Balta, head of Health within the General Directorate of Medical and Social Assistance of Chisinau, said that socially vulnerable families, those with twins and triplets benefited from dairy products.
Last year, over 1 million lei (50 thousand euros) was allocated for the purchase of dairy products. This year, 1.4 million lei is expected for their purchase. The amounts are redistributed to five Territorial Medical Associations in the capital, which are conducting tenders for the procurement. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
