On February 11-17, inspectors from the Territorial Directorates for Food Safety carried out 373 official inspections, of which 96 at trade establishments, 27 at public catering establishments, 65 at general education institutions and three at warehouses. As a result, several batches of products were withdrawn from the market.
Following the official controls, 81 prescriptions were issued; 29 minutes on the contravention were drawn up and a remediation plan was developed. The following non-compliances were also detected: marketing of expired products; non-compliant marking; lack of information about the producer, year of fruit, category; failure to ensure product traceability; lack of test reports for drinking water; unsatisfactory sanitary-hygienic condition; incomplete work equipment; lack of medical control and hygiene training, etc.
As a result of the controls, 290.12 kg of animal and non-animal products and 125 packaging units were withdrawn from the market. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
