As of November 26, Ukrainian farmers harvested more than 10.5 million tons of sugar beets.
According to the Information and Analytical Portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, sugar beets were harvested from the area of 222.7 thousand hectares (98% in Ukraine), more than 10.5 million tons of sweet roots were harvested with the average yield of 473 hundredweights/ha. Agricultural producers of 13 regions finished harvesting operations. The highest average beet yield was registered in Lviv region and amounted to 556.8 hundredweights/ha.
