About 15,000 doses of AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine have expired in Georgia, Head of the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) Amiran Gamkrelidze has announced.
Gamkrelidze said the specific number of the expired doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine would be made known next week.
Those who have received the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine, will be offered alternative vaccines – Pfizer, Sinopharm or Sinovac.
As of October 24, a total of 61,456 individuals have received AstraZeneca vaccine in Georgia. 58,689 of 61,456 people received the second dose of the vaccine. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
