On September 17, the Uzbek government adopted a resolution that provided for additional measures to reduce losses of agricultural and food products.
According to the decree, a portal of the electronic agro-industrial market is set to be established within the state institution “Center for Digitalization of Agro-Industry” under the Ministry of Agriculture.
The portal will assess the level of provision of the domestic market with the main types of food products. Online cooperation and e-commerce will be established between economic entities.
The electronic portal will operate in test mode from October 1 to December 1 and will be fully launched from January 1, 2022. (Uzreport/Business World Magazine)
