On September 1, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine redeemed the third series of Eurobonds worth $1.3088 billion, issued during the restructuring in 2015.
“On September 1, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine repaid the third series Eurobonds issued during the restructuring in 2015. The total redemption amounted to more than $1.3 billion, including $974.146 million to repay the principal amount of Eurobonds and $334.636 million in interest payments on Eurobonds maturing in 2021-2027,” the ministry said.
Until the end of the year, the balance of foreign currency payments on Ukraine’s public debt will be about $3.6 billion. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
