At the beginning of August there were 191,193 taxpayers legal persons registered in Latvia, down by 2.1% YoY, according to data published by Latvian State Revenue Service (VID).
When compared to July 1, the number of taxpayers legal persons in Latvia dropped by 108 or by 0.1%.
At the beginning of August, the majority of taxpayers legal persons were registered in Riga customer service center – 105,887.
Liepaja customer service center is next with 8,079 taxpayers legal persons. Next up is Jelgava customer service center with 6,691, as well as Daugavpils customer service center with 5,417 and Ogre customer service center – 5,246.
At the beginning of August, the lowest number of taxpayers legal persons was registered at Kraslava customer service center – 1,033.
On August 1, 2020 there were 195 340 taxpayers legal persons registered in Latvia. (BNN/Business World Magazine)
