The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to keep the price of electricity for household consumers at the level of UAH 1.68 per kWh, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said at a government meeting on April 28.
“The price of electricity for the population remains at UAH 1.68 per kWh. The government extends the regime of the PSO (Public Service Obligations) until June 30. In addition, under the new rules, the state-owned companies Energoatom and Ukrhydroenerho will sell electricity directly to universal service suppliers under bilateral agreements, without an intermediary in the form of SE Guaranteed Buyer,” said Shmyhal.
