Ukraine’s Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) will receive UAH 58.8 million worth of state support for the implementation of nine projects within the sectoral budget program of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development.
“For the first time in the history of Ukraine, 11 Regional Development Agencies will receive UAH 58.8 million from the state budget for the implementation of nine projects within the sectoral budget program of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development. The projects must be implemented within the next three years,” the ministry’s press service reported.
At present, Regional Development Agencies have been created in 19 regions of Ukraine. They act as offices providing advice and practical assistance regarding the preparation and implementation of regional development programs and projects. Thanks to their work, it is possible to unite the efforts of the state, regional and local authorities, the public and private sector.
In 2021, RDAs in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Rivne and Zakarpattia regions will receive real financial support from the ministry. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
