Separate households of North Kazakhstan Region started to harvest spring crops last week that was the earliest time for this region.
Particularly, the field works were started by two agricultural households, which carried out the spring planting campaign one month earlier than others due to the warm spring. They started to harvest barley last week and plan to start to harvest wheat and peas this week.
First yield of barley totaled 3 ton/ha, rather high taking to account the weather during spring and summer this year.
In 2020, farmers of North Kazakhstan Region planted grain and oilseed crops throughout 4.21 million ha. The share of grains reached 67%. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
