Ukraine and France are planning to jointly produce patrol boats for border guards, Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov stated during a meeting with French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire on June 18, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported.
“Together with France’s Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire, we discussed the joint production of patrol boats for our border guards in Ukraine,” Avakov wrote on Twitter.
The Ukrainian minister stressed that there was no production of aluminum boats in Ukraine.
“Lightweight and maneuverable boats will be used by border guards to patrol the border and conduct special operations,” he said. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
