Large and medium-sized enterprises of Ukraine received UAH 353 billion of profit in 2018, according to the Economic Development and Trade Ministry.
“Large and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine improved their financial results in 2018 compared to 2017. Well done, as profitability grew by 4.1%, they earned UAH 580 billion, while losses decreased by 16.4%, to UAH 227 billion. In general, the fiscal year ended with positive balance totaling UAH 353 billion,” the ministry wrote on Facebook.
The Economic Development and Trade Ministry noted that the highest level of profitability was recorded among the companies operating in the industrial sector (UAH 149.4 billion), in the sector of financial and insurance activities (UAH 74 billion), and in the sphere of wholesale and retail trade (UAH 61.1 billion).
