In 2018, JSC Ak Bidai – Terminal (a subsidiary of the “Food Contract Corporation”) handled 818.4 thousand tons of grain through the grain terminal in Aktau port.
In 2017, grain handling reached around 500 thousand tons.
As reported by the company, last year, the growth was conditioned by an increase in grain exports, favorable weather and climatic conditions, availability of free berths in the seaport and additional places for grain hoppers. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
