The Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturers cannot do customs clearing for medicine to be imported to Uzbekistan, the Association of Employers’ Organizations of the Medical and Microbiological Industry of Ukraine (OORMMPU) said in a statement.
“Pharmaceutical products have been at the customs for several weeks now, but the customs service of the Republic of Uzbekistan does not explain why it is not carrying out registration,” the OORMMPU said.
The pharma products of such Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturers as Yuria-Pharm, Farmak JSC, Lekhim JSC, Farmhim, etc. are listed as having problems with the customs registration.
To address the issue, the Association turned to Stepan Kubiv, First Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, with a request to intervene in this situation and to hold a working meeting in order to work out ways to resolve this issue with the involvement of representatives of the Association and other relevant organizations.
