Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) serviced 2.424 million passengers in January-October, up by 56.3% YoY, the airport’s press service reports.
The number of passengers serviced on international flights totaled 2,351.2 thousand, and on domestic flights – 73 thousand.
The number of flights in January-October included 25,904 both arrivals and departures, up by 32.9% (of which, 21,878 were international flights and 4,026 domestic flights).
The most popular international destinations since the start of 2018 have been Minsk (Belarus), Warsaw (Poland), Sharm el-Sheik (Egypt), Dubai (UAE), Antalya (Tukey), Ankara (Turkey) and Rome (Italy). Among domestic flights, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia and Lviv were in the lead.
In October Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport serviced 259.1 thousand passengers, up by 48.6% YoY, the airport’s press service reports.
The number of passengers serviced on international flights in October totaled 251.6 thousand, and on domestic flights – 7.5 thousand.
The number of flights in October included 2,722 both arrivals and departures, up by 27% (of which, 2,268 were international flights and 454 domestic flights).
The most popular international destinations in October were Sharm el-Sheik (Egypt), Minsk (Belarus), Warsaw (Poland), Dubai (UAE), Ankara (Turkey), Berlin (Germany), Frankfurt am Main in (Germany) and Rome (Italy).
