In January-February Ukraine exported 5.3 thousand tons of fresh and frozen beef, down by 0.43 thousand tons YoY.
The State Fiscal Service (SFS) reports that Ukraine exported 1.8 thousand tons of fresh/chilled beef (January-February 2017 – 1.72 thousand tons) and 3.5 thousand tons of frozen beef (4.05 thousand tons).
The main importer of fresh and chilled beef was Belarus ($5.1 million), which received 1.79 tons (99.5% of the total).
Frozen beef was exported to Kazakhstan ($2.8 million), Azerbaijan ($2.5 million) and Belarus ($1.8 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 917 tons, 836 tons and 591 tons, respectively. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
