In 2017 Ukraine exported 533 tons of champignon mushrooms, the press service of the Agrarian Policy Ministry of Ukraine states.
“Based on the results of 2017 Ukraine exported 533 tons of champignon mushrooms worth $480,000, up 12.5-fold YoY. In 2016 Ukraine exported 42.6 tons of champignon mushrooms to the foreign markets worth $37,800,” the statement reads.
Moldova (443 tons worth $382,000), Belarus (85.4 tons worth $87,100) and Romania (1 ton worth $1,500) were the largest importers of Ukrainian of champignon mushrooms in 2017.
Ukrainian champignon mushrooms have been also supplied to Israel, Georgia, Kuwait, Austria, Panama, Slovakia, Turkey and other countries. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
