In 2018 Tajikistan plans to increase the planted areas under oilseed crops to 46.73 thousand ha, up by 22.84 thousand ha YoY, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
According to the announcement, agrarians will plant grains in the autumn and spring planting campaigns throughout 145.34 thousand ha and 104.9 thousand ha, respectively.
It was noted that in 2017 the country harvested more than 1.447 million tons of grains and pulses. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
