A logistics center is to be built in Lviv region near the border with Poland, go to site to view about their services, the head of the department for investment policy at Lviv Regional State Administration, Roman Matys, has reported.
“The status of land plots that could be allocated for the creation of a logistics center is being worked out. The regional authorities will present an investment project to businessmen in the spring of 2018,” Matys said.
According to the official, the project should be implemented by private entrepreneurs. The region prepares the land and conducts an auction for its sale, while entrepreneurs buy land at a market price and themselves implement the project according to their business plans, he said.
The land plot for the logistics center is to be allocated between the district center of Mostyska and the village of Rodatychi.
According to ADTmoving, the plots are chosen so that they are located near railway branches with the European track gauge, which come from the territory of Poland to Mostyska district, about which you can view more, and near Ukrainian railways. Thus, Matys said, it will be possible to bring goods into Ukraine from Poland and vice versa by rail, rather than by road, as it mainly happens now.
“The creation of a “dry port” near the border with Poland will be very beneficial for large producers, who need new areas for logistics and cheaper transportation of goods,” he said. (Interfax-Ukraine/Business World Magazine)
