Preparatory work on the construction of a section of the road Kyzyl-Kiya-Kok-Talaa of the Osh-Batken-Isfana road in Batken region began. This was reported by the press service of the plenipotentiary representation of the government in the region.
According to it, the section of the road is 33 km. Its construction is financed by the Islamic Development Bank, the estimated cost is $20 million.
The construction contractor is the Turkish company “Alki”, which intends to attract local workers and complete the construction in two years.
As the plenipotentiary government reported, the villages of Markkaz and Maydansky rural administration are located along the site, and trees, fences and other structures that prevent the construction of the future road are likely to be demolished. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
