In January-July the sea terminal Nika-Tera (Sea Special Port Nika-Tera LLC, Mykolaiv, part of Group DF) increased transshipment of cargoes by 48.3% YoY, to 2.533 million tons, the press-service of the company reported.
In particular, in the cargo turnover structure the share of grain transshipment totaled 63.2% (1.6 million tons), bulk cargoes – 31.4% (796.2 million tons), chemical and mineral fertilizers – 5.35% (135.4 thousand tons), and general cargoes – 0.5 thousand tons.
During seven months of 2017, the terminal Nika-Tera welcomed 146 dry bulk carriers.
At the same time, in July the terminal transshipped 354 thousand tons of cargoes, up by 25.8% YoY. The share of grains in the cargo transshipment structure totaled 61.6% (218 thousand tons), bulk cargoes – 38.4% (135.8 thousand tons), and general cargoes – below 1% (0.3 thousand tons).
