Flour exports from Kazakhstan somewhat expanded in June. The country supplied 180.9 KMT of flour to foreign markets that month, up by 10% MoM and by 5% YoY.
In the ten months of the 2016-2017 season, Kazakh flour exports totaled 1942.6 KMT, up by 3.6% YoY (1874.9 KMT).
Afghanistan’s share in Kazakh flour exports expanded in the current season. This market absorbed 69% of all export deliveries in the reporting period against 54% in MY 2015-2016.
Some rise is also seen in Kazakh flour deliveries to China’s market. Kazakhstan supplied more than 9.3 KMT of flour there in September-June 2016-2017 against 7.9 KMT for the whole last season. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
