As of August 7, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 32.655 million tons of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 8.67 million ha, or 90% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.77 ton/ha, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported.
In particular, agrarians harvested winter wheat throughout 5.682 million ha (92% of the forecast). The production volumes totaled 23.032 million tons, with the average yield of 4.05 ton/ha. Also, agrarians harvested 312.6 thousand tons of spring wheat throughout 94.9 thousand ha (48%), with the yield at 3.3 ton/ha.
Ukraine harvested 3.183 million tons of winter barley throughout 872.6 thousand ha (98%), with the yield of 3.65 ton/ha. Also, agrarians harvested 4.618 million tons of spring barley throughout 1.458 million ha (90%), with the yield at 3.17 ton/ha.
As of the reporting date, agrarians harvested 291.8 thousand tons of rye throughout 102.4 thousand ha (61%), with the yield at 2.85 ton/ha. Ukraine continued harvesting oats. Agrarians harvested 149.3 thousand tons of the grain throughout 56.7 thousand ha (29%), with the average yield at 2.63 ton/ha.
At the same time, Ukrainian agrarians produced 1.065 million tons of peas. The average yield totaled 2.65 ton/ha, and the harvested areas – 402.2 thousand ha (98%).
In addition, the country harvested 2.011 million tons of winter rapeseed, with the yield at 2.77 ton/ha. The harvested areas totaled 725 thousand ha (98%). Also, agrarians harvested 30.4 thousand tons of spring rapeseed throughout 14.8 thousand ha (32%), with the yield at 2.05 ton/ha. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
