Electricity consumption increased in Kyrgyzstan in July, the National Electric Networks of Kyrgyzstan JSC reported.
According to it, the electricity consumption in the country’s power system for July amounted to 813.03 million kilowatt-hours, and the daily maximum power consumption reached 1,521 megawatts.
For comparison, in July 2016, this figure was 751.96 million kilowatt-hours, the daily maximum power consumption reached 1,446 megawatts.
According to the company, in general, there is an increase in electricity consumption in the country, and the increase in July is caused by the weather, when people started using air conditioners and cooling fans more often because of the heat. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
