Latvian airline airBaltic carried 372,219 passengers in June, up by 23% YoY. It is now the airline’s latest record.
In the first six months of 2017, airBaltic carried a total of 1,565,462 passengers to destinations in Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.
airBaltic’s CEO Martin Gauss says the airline has managed to exceed records established in the past five years.
The airline performed a total of 23,461 flights in the first half-year, up by 13% YoY. In June alone airBaltic performed 4,726 flights.
Aircraft load factor in the first half-year reached 73.5%, which is the airline’s best index in its history. Load factor in June was 83.1%.
airBaltic’s 15 minute punctuality index reached 88.7% in the first half-year of 2017. (BNN/Business World Magazine)
