On June 2, Latvian airline airBaltic received the fourth out of twenty ordered Bombardier CS300 aircraft.
airBaltic plans to expand its existing fleet of CS300 aircraft to 8 in 2017.
Airline’s representatives say a more modern fleet will help expand and service 13 new destinations, as well as increase ticket sales by 15%.
“The fourth airBaltic CS300 aircraft with registration Nr. YL-CSD arrived in Riga on June 2. The total flight time was seven hours and fifty-eight minutes. The aircraft performed a 6,410 km long non-stop flight from Canada to Latvia. So far airBaltic has performed more than 1,296 flights with new Bombardier CS300 aircraft,” the airline reported.
airBaltic plans to receive all of its ordered 20 Bombardier CS300 aircraft before the end of 2019. (BNN/Business World Magazine)
