47 food industry enterprises of Kyrgyzstan can export their products to the countries of EEU, Director of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety Kalysbek Zhumakanov declared on March 28, at a press conference.
According to him, favorable epizootic situation and enterprises meeting the standards of EEU are necessary for the export of food products.
There are 18 enterprises now in the country that have the opportunity to export their products, and they are included in the unified register of EEU.
“Apart from them, 8 enterprises have the right to export products to the southern regions of Kazakhstan; six more enterprises have recently received permission. A response came from Russia and Kazakhstan, which said that Russia was ready to include 5 more companies in the list, and Kazakhstan – 10 more,” Kalysbek Zhumakanov told.
He said that the agency was working with colleagues from China on the export of our products to PRC.
“We are waiting for the arrival of the veterinary service of the People’s Republic of China, preparing 3-4 protocols for the export of our products, these are live cattle – cattle, sheep, poultry, as well as dairy and meat products”, he said. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
