Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriya Gontareva discussed with Director of the World Bank for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova Satu Kahkonen and Director of the World Bank for Finance and Markets Global Practice Alfonso Garcia Mora the current stage of the reform of the banking sector.

“The parties discussed the current stage of the banking sector reform – a reboot. They agreed that one of the priorities for this stage is to update the high-level strategy for management of state-owned banks that would give clear guidance to the state banks in the medium-term perspective of five years,” the report said.
The representatives of the World Bank assured the NBU of their support of further cooperation in reforming the financial sector of Ukraine. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
