In January, despite the interventions of the National Bank, international reserves of Kyrgyzstan increased by 14 million soms. The data was presented by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.
At the end of January the volume of reserves formed in the amount of $1,983.07 billion. At the same time, the National Bank held two interventions. It totally sold $17.65 million.
It should be noted that in December 2016 the volume of reserves began to increase for the first time in three months. It grew by 2.67% ($51.26 million). Most of the reserves accumulated in June and August 2016 – $2,3.27 billion and $2,25.73 billion. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
