Flour production in Ukraine continued shrinking in November: 176.1 KMT was produced last month, down by 6.4% YoY.
Ukrainian flour output for the eleven months of 2016 was down by 5% YoY. About 1.749 MMT of flour was made from January till November against 1.843 MMT in the same period last year.
At the same time, production of bread and bakery goods has fallen by 6.5% to 1.028 MMT in 2016, while macaroni output is down by 5.3% YoY at 75.9 KMT.
This trend persists against the background of further growth of flour exports from Ukraine, once again confirming a decline in domestic consumption of flour and baked goods in the country. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
