Exports of Ukrainian agricultural products amounted to nearly $12 billion in 10 months of 2016. This is reported by the press service of the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine.
“According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, exports of Ukrainian agricultural products in January-October amounted to $11.8 billion, accounting for 40.7% of total national exports. Imports of agricultural products to Ukraine during the corresponding period amounted to $3.1 million, accounting for 9.9% of national imports. So, a positive agricultural trade balance in the amount of $8.7 million was formed”, the statement reads.
Grains ($4.8 billion), fats and oils of animal or vegetable origin ($3.1 billion) and prepared food ($ 1.8 billion) constitute the largest share in the Ukrainian exports. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
