Kazakhstan declares its agriculture development plans and takes steps for their fulfillment. The nation has aimed at exporting up to half the production to CIS markets in three years.
To achieve this goal, work is under way for attracting investments to various agricultural projects. It is envisaged to engage at least ten trans-national companies into the processing sector for producing export goods and bringing Kazakhstan to world markets. Talks with Singapore’s Wilmar have been started now to set up a sunseed and soybean crushing plant within the framework of the above-mentioned strategy. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
