State-run enterprise Ukrspyrt expects to see 46 million UAH of net profit in 2016 compared to net loss of 13.89 million UAH in 2015.
“The official figure for 2015 is the loss of around 14 million UAH. It is the official report submitted to the State Fiscal Service. We want to have around 46 million UAH of net profit this year”, Ukrspyrt acting director and deputy director Oleh Drozhzhin said at a press conference in Kyiv.
He said that BDO company audited the company’s reports for 2014-2015. The company said that the report for 2015 should be revised.
Currently 18 operating production facilities are subordinated to Ukrspyrt. In January-November they exported 250,000 decaliters of potable spirit and made 7.26 million decaliters of spirit.
“The total capacity of Ukrspyrt’s enterprises is around 31 million decaliters. Today the market needs 7.5 million decaliters”, he said.
He said that production of industrial spirit should be started in order to launch other production sites of Ukrspyrt.
“We will initiate the revoking of the excise duty on industrial spirit used for production of bioethanol and in chemical industry: for production of vinegar and perfume”, Drozhzhin said. (Interfax/Business World Magazine)
