Sprouts of winter crops in Ukraine appeared throughout the areas of 6.5 million ha, or 93% of the planted areas, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine informed.
According to the announcement, as of the reporting date 83% of the sprouted areas were in good and satisfactory condition (5.4 million ha), and 17% – in poor and thinned condition (1.1 million ha).
In addition, the sprouts of winter rapeseed appeared throughout 782.5 thousand ha (93%) from the general planted areas of 845.2 thousand ha, including 82% of the areas (642.7 thousand ha) in good and satisfactory condition, 18% (138.4 thousand ha) – in weak and thinned condition.
