Kyrgyzstan was unable to use the Polish credit of 40 million euro, the Head of Trade and Investment Promotion Department of the Polish Embassy in Almaty Wlodzimierz Kurowski reported.
He noted that the recent contacts had been mainly used for the implementation of the loan agreement under the tied aid. However, the loan hasn’t been used yet.
As for the Polish side, there is a consent of the prime minister to extend the life of the loan. But in the new conditions it will be given on exact amount on which the Kyrgyz and Polish companies will conclude contracts.
The Polish side hopes that the meeting of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Polish commission will be held in the first quarter of 2017. And there the representatives of Poland hope to sign contracts under the loan agreement. This project should be completed by November 2017. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
