Industrial recession in Belarus is over, Vice Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko said.
“I am happy that we have survived through the crisis. I can see that the recession is over. Today the Industry Ministry is posting a 3% growth. We plan to reach the growth of 11.3% next year”, Vladimir Semashko noted.
“The machine-building industry was on a good level in Belarus. Some 12-13 years ago to 2013 inclusively we had an annual growth of 8.2%. Belarus’ share in the world’s machine-building sector increased 2.4 times. The crisis hit the industry in 2014-2015”, Semashko said.
The Belarusian economy is gradually getting back on track.
“Strong companies become even stronger after the crisis. Amkodor is one of such companies that, despite the crisis, found financial and intellectual resources to develop. This led to success”, the Vice Prime Minister said. (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
