The Infrastructure Ministry is in talks with the global operator Hutchison Ports, which is ready to enter one of Ukraine’s biggest ports, Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan said.
According to him, a bill on concession is being drafted now, which is to become a universal law for all the sectors of this industry. Work has been started in the seaports of Olviya, Kherson. Volodymyr Omelyan hopes it will be possible to proceed to other ports.
Simultaneously, the ministry is working with investors. In particular, it is in talks with the global operator Hutchison Ports that is ready to enter one of Ukraine’s biggest ports. In addition, the ministry is negotiating with the port operator DP World that is the world’s number three and ranks among the most technically advanced companies.
