In January-September Moldova’s exports to Romania grew by 6.8% YoY, to $355.7 million.
The share of the deliveries to Romania in Moldova’s total export increased by 1.8%. At the same time, the deliveries from Romania to Moldova reduced by 9.6% to $395.4 million, their share in the total amount of Moldova’s import shrinking by 1.1% from 14.8% to 13.7%.
In January- September the unfavorable balance of trade of Moldova with Romania made up $39.7 million, down 2.6 times YoY. During the 9 months of 2016 Romania was Moldova’s largest import and export partner. (InfoMarket/Business World Magazine)
