The state-owned OAO Belaruskali increased solid alkali output to meet the growing consumer demand for this product, a company representative reported.
Solid alkali is manufactured at Belaruskali’s electromembrane process factory, which resumed operation in late October.
Belaruskali has started supplying solid alkali in 25-kilo bags. The product is shipped to customers in Belarus, Russia and the Baltic States.
The electromembrane process factory has increased output of sodium hypochlorite, after the product was officially registered as a disinfectant.
