Belarus’ BelAZ heavy-duty truck manufacturer (Zhodino, Minsk region) shipped 14 BelAZ-7547 trucks for open-cast mining operations with a load capacity of 42-45 tons to customers in Russia’s Central and Ural districts, BelAZ said in a release.
The shipments were facilitated by Russia’s National Non-metallic Company and BelTransLogistic Ltd. BelAZ made a three-year partnership deal with the aforementioned companies. In particular, BelTransLogistic is responsible for drawing financial resources to facilitate the most comfortable terms of machinery supplies, supplies of equipment from third-party manufacturers, warrantee and product replacement services.
The Belarusian Automobile Plant (BelAZ) was set up in 1958. It is one of the world’s largest producers of automobiles for open cast mines and building significant hydroengineering objects.
The company assembles over 200 models of mine trucks with the carrying capacity ranging from 30 to 450 tons, special machines (front loaders, wheel bulldozers, wheel vehicles for metallurgic companies, aircraft haulers, irrigative machinery, automobile dump semitrailers, and consumer goods).
